One time I added sausage, and the other time, didn't add any meat except the bacon at the beginning. Everyone loved being able to add their favorite condiment, horseradish, mustard or sour cream. It's not that this dish is necessarily better than her other recent creations; it's that it's SO healthy, and yet SO flavorful. I can't get over it. If anybody reading this is planning on going on a diet soon, I strongly urge that you start by making a huge pot of this. You will realize that life is *not* actually about to end.
