FP Daily

I woke up a little too early today with a bit too much creative energy and, seeing that Tastespotting up and went, decided to start my own food-spotting site. FP Daily. Check it out—I’d love feedback!

Thank you for the new site! It has introduced me to more lovely food blogs. Great idea.

  2. Amanda Says:

nice idea ms. robin :) I was trying to figure out the “legal” notices that had plagued tastepotting, and am hoping that those at notcot will shed a little light on to the troubles. Copyright stuff is always a big mess :(

  3. joythebaker Says:

Yay! I checked it out and it’s looking lovely. Let me know how I can be a part of it! Also- Happy Belated Birthday! That mixer is a beauty!

  4. Kristin at The Kitchen Sink Says:

I feel like a junkie who just found her fix. Looks great, Robin. I like the clean black layout, your editorials and the ability to comment. I hope it takes off!

Great idea! We need a replacement!

  6. Jane Says:

Love it! Great pics, great picks, and nice to hear from you on a daily basis — I’m a daily reader!

  7. Sue (coffeepot) Says:

Good idea but…taste spotting went out for legalities didn’t it? Some blogs are real weird about their copy rights?

I hope you don’t encounter problems.

  8. radish Says:

awesome – how do we join? Sad that tastespotting is no more, but happy you set the new site up… :)

  9. Robin Says:

Thanks for the encouragement guys. Tastespotting may have had some issues because they let everyone submit and maybe they didn’t check the links properly, but I’ll be doing that rigorously!

You can join by emailing me with your blog name, and I’ll add you to my reader and check your new posts for pics. If you have a post your particularly proud of and haven’t seen on the site, shoot me another email with the link.

I left you some comments on the other site. It’s a lovely idea and I’m glad that you took initiative. I trust that you will keep me informed of all things swoonworthy over there. I’m sure that it will become a favorite of mine, just like this one :)

  16. Robin Says:

I’m so excited-slash-obsessed over this already!! Who’s got back problems when they are inundated with food porn?!? (Also for an update… my back is doing much better… knock on wood!) :D

  17. Donald Says:

Will wait every new post in my reader. Yay!

  19. CG Says:

Thanks for tossing this out there. This is great.

Would be great to have the RSS feed contain the images (or show them like the TS atom feed did). I’m a food-feed junkie & like to skim all the pics with my feed reader.
