LOL.. you crack me up. i was hoping you’d comment on our convo from dinner last week and, you did. love it. i’m totally going to take your word that they’re not overrated and try them “without judgment” if that’s possible.

by the way, i think the hazelnuts is an excellent idea. i could see that going so well with the coco milk and the crispiness of that skin. this really looks excellent.

Hi Maggie! Yep, I created the recipe (with a inspiration from a few other recipes). It was mostly born out of being very hungry at Whole Foods and brainstorming. :)

Citarella’s a great store–if expensive. We always hit it up when we’re out in East Hampton, and I’ve come to like it a lot better than WF.

And you’ve gotta try fiddleheads if you can find them.

I agree with Mr Wright on the frankly perfect looking crispy skin.
I have never heard of fiddlehead ferns but they look extraordinary and
and just saying those two words is fantastic – I feel as if you should sing them in a slightly
folky way (can’t sing so won’t)

ps have you tried saying filddlin’ with fiddlehead ferns very fast 10 times
